Authentic Gaming casinos: current UK licence status

Authentic Gaming needs a status check before a casino shortlist. On 8 October 2026, the Gambling Commission record for Authentic Gaming Limited, account 51994, showed its remote gambling-software and game-host casino permissions as surrendered, with an end date of 12 December 2025.

That directly limits what an old "Authentic Gaming casinos" list can establish. A historic provider logo, venue-stream article or affiliate recommendation is not evidence that the same supplier currently serves a UK casino. This page therefore explains the record and the checks a current recommendation would require.

Do not use a legacy Authentic Gaming list as proof of current availability. The exact entity's surrendered permissions are verified; a replacement licensed arrangement or current UK table inventory has not been established in this research.

What the official record establishes

The record names Authentic Gaming Limited and lists two surrendered remote activities: Gambling Software and Game Host (Casino). Both show 3 August 2018 as the start date and 12 December 2025 as the end date. This is the business register, not a personal licence record.

The entry does not, on its own, explain the commercial reason for the surrender, establish the status of every associated company worldwide or identify a successor supplier. It would be an overstatement to turn this one record into a universal claim that every game bearing the name has ceased in every market.

Why older casino articles still mention Authentic Gaming

An operator article at Genting describes Authentic Gaming roulette streamed from physical Genting venues. Older comparison pages also associate the supplier with casino-floor roulette. These pages help explain what readers may remember, but an article remaining online is not evidence that its supplier arrangement remains active.

Provider categories are particularly prone to stale recommendations because the same casino brand can change its live supplier without changing its public name. A photograph of a venue or a generic "live roulette" result can survive after a contract or table changes.

How to check a table that looks familiar

If a casino currently advertises a table you remember from Authentic Gaming, ask which provider supplies that exact title today. Check the in-game information, table name and casino's current UK help page. If a new company is identified, verify that company's relevant record rather than assuming the old licence transferred.

Also verify the casino account operator separately. A supplier change need not mean the consumer-facing casino is unlicensed, just as an active casino licence does not settle which provider is running a particular wheel. The two checks answer different questions.

  • Record the exact game title and provider shown now.
  • Check the current legal supplier where a change is claimed.
  • Verify the casino domain and account operator independently.
  • Treat vague statements such as "powered by leading studios" as insufficient.

If your real priority is a casino-floor stream

Choose by the feature you want rather than a historic supplier label. A venue-origin feed shows a table inside a physical casino; a studio-origin feed comes from a dedicated production environment. Grosvenor's own live-from-venue page describes this distinction. Neither setting removes the house edge.

Playtech announced Live from London with The Hippodrome on 15 September 2026, describing roulette, blackjack and baccarat. That is evidence of an announced product, not proof that every UK Playtech casino offers it. Confirm the exact operator lobby and opening schedule before relying on an announcement.

Rules matter more than an old table name

For a conventional single-zero wheel with standard payouts, the house edge is 1/37, approximately 2.70%. That result comes from 37 equally likely pockets and a 35:1 net payout on a straight-up win. It does not automatically apply to a multiplier variant or an extra-cost feature.

Write down the wheel type, paytable, minimum main stake and any extra charge. A similarly named replacement can have different limits or rules. Avoid transferring an old review's stake range, RTP or bonus eligibility to the new table.

What to do about an old account or disputed round

If the issue concerns money held at a casino, contact that account operator with the transaction date and round reference. Do not send identity documents or account funds to an unrelated website merely because it uses the Authentic Gaming name.

Follow the operator's complaint process if the matter is unresolved. Keep a copy of the relevant game rules and correspondence. An old provider-category article cannot determine whether a historic disputed round should be refunded; the transaction evidence and applicable terms are needed.

Questions answered

Is Authentic Gaming currently UK licensed?

The exact record checked, Authentic Gaming Limited account 51994, shows surrendered remote software and game-host casino permissions ending 12 December 2025. No replacement arrangement was verified for this page.

Does that mean a casino that once used it is closed?

No. A supplier's record and a consumer casino's operating record are different. Check the casino's current legal entity and domain.

Can an old review prove a table is still available?

No. It may accurately describe an earlier service while being obsolete for today. A current operator or supplier source must identify the current game and arrangement.
